    Cosmic Artifact is excited to present monthly jewel workshops at Easey Art Space ~ !

    Come and learn the art of wax working for jewellery to create your own piece in solid silver or gold ~ ! Amongst the brushstrokes and dappled greenery, we invite you to sculpt a celestial ring, pendant, or charm of your own custom design.

    Classes are small and personal, with 4 to 6 participants per session, running for a casual three hours. No prior jewellery making skills/experiences are necessary, and all cosmic beings are welcome.

    What's Included

    This hands-on creative workshop includes experimenting with wax mediums, tools, and techniques, as you are guided through the process of working with jewellers wax to realise your design. 

    On completion of the session, you will have hand-made and finished your own wax ring, charm or pendant ready for casting into solid precious metal.

    Finished wax models will then be sent to our local casting house for lost-wax casting. In short, this is a process whereby the wax model melts and the precious metal takes its place in a temporary mould scenario. 

    The costs of casting and weight of silver are included in the price of the Workshop.

    Pieces in gold will be quoted by weight on the day.

    Your piece will then be hand-polished, and ready for pick-up three weeks later :)) Your finished piece will be a solid ring, charm, or pendant in your choice of silver or gold.

    All tools are provided during each session, alongside aprons and any safety gear. A beautiful handmade booklet detailing the process, tools, casting info, and suppliers will also be yours to take home. You will then have the knowledge to continue on in any way you please ~ make your own rings for friends and family, start your own business, take things sky high ~ ! 

    A lush array of snacks and treats will also be provided, with teas and coffees available at the neighbouring cafe.

    Workshops are $275 per person all inclusive, held on the first Saturday of the month. An additional amount will be calculated for pieces in gold, based on their final weight on the day. Custom sessions or special workshops for wedding rings are also available, alongside Gift Certificates for those gifts that keep on giving :)) 

    Workshops are held at Easey Art Space ~ 21 Easey Street, Collingwood (Naarm//Melbourne).
